At Sawyer Fisher we focus on obtaining the best value for money for clients undertaking construction work, whether new build or refurbishment.

We aim to achieve this through a close working relationship with the design professions and the construction team, making full use of our knowledge of construction costs throughout the project’s duration.

Our initial approach would be to carry out a through on-site inspection with other members of the Design Team to establish the extent of the work to be repaired or replaced, taking site measurements where appropriate.

We would prepare a detailed estimate and cost plan using approximate quantities priced on the basis of typical rates we have received elsewhere on similar contracts, utilising material costs and specialist sub-contract quotes, having made adjustments as necessary to take into account local market conditions and geographical location.

Costs associated with essential repairs and priority of non-essential costs would be highlighted.

As the project develops, the cost plan can be easily adjusted and brought up to date as further information comes to light.
