Castle Drogo

Castle Drogo is a National Trust property designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens

which sits above the Teign Gorge with views over Dartmoor. The castle was built in the 20th century and is the last castle to be built in England.

Castle Drogo and its grounds are included in the Statutory List of Special Architectural and Historical Importance, Grade 1.

Phase 1 works included

• re-roofing of the Chapel and stonework repairs.

Phase 2 included

• a quinquennial study,
• enabling works and budgets in connection with repairs to the west wall.
