Grace Dieu Priory

Grace Dieu Priory is a nationally significant Schedule Ancient Monument and a rare example of an Augustinian Nunnery.

The consolidation of the ruins was started during the summer period to take advantage of weather conditions as the ruins are in an exposed location.

Funding to conserve and make safe the buildings was obtained from the Heritage Lottery Fund, English Heritage, Landfill Tax Companies, the National Forest Company and other charitable trusts, local government and individual donations.
