Polesden Lacey

A phased contract over a two year period, Sawyer Fisher provided quantity surveying services for the provision of new visitor facilities featuring a new reception area, the relocation of the National Trust shop/restaurant, kitchen and servery around a resurfaced main courtyard, and the creation of plant and produce shop.

Toilet facilities were relocated to a newly constructed block and a new underground drainage main was constructed from Polesden Lacey to the village of Bookham nearby.

The opportunity was also taken to improve and alter the access road, which now links to a new car and coach park.

Polesden Lacey is Grade 2* listed building of architectural importance.
