Post Mill Windmill Hill
Post Mill was built around 1814 and is one of the largest Post Mills in Sussex.
In 1913 the mill ceased milling corn but was left as a landmark for shipping.
The project involved the repair and restoration of the Post Mill including:
- a new electrical installation
- lightning conductor installation
- and construction of a new toilet facility
The work was grant aided by English Heritage and the Heritage Lottery Fund to support local fundraising.
