Provender

Works for repair and alterations were carried out to the Drawing Room Range of Provender House with the assistance of English Heritage.

Phase l works comprised:

• clearing the South West Courtyard of later additions
• timber repairs to the Stair Tower
• South Elevations of the Central Range and
• South West addition to the Russian Wing, as well as
• internal alterations to the Russian Wing.

Phase ll

• external repairs and
• alterations to the South West Courtyard and
• Russian wing were completed.

Phase lll works comprised

• the repair of and alteration to the 3rd phase of external repairs and alterations to Provender House, including
• the re-roofing of various roof slopes
• external elevation repairs
• re-opening of the central courtyard
• internal works of the main stairs
• study and
• Waineman rooms and
• associated mechanical and electrical installations.

Provender House is a Grade ll* listed building of architectural importance
