Rectory Park
The works in this contract comprised the repair and refurbishment of the historic house and The West Tudor Wing.
It included:
- the demolition of the main kitchen/dining extension
- removal of rear porch to staircase
- the refurbishment of the medieval wing to form kitchen and
- the removal of part of the second floor to form new master bedroom suite.
Also included in the contract was:
- the refurbishment of the medieval wing to form new ground floor kitchen and
- removal of part of the second floor to form new master bedroom suite.
- the demolition of the existing swimming pool complex and
- the construction of a new swimming pool and gymnasium building
Associated mechanical and electrical installations including a new Eco heating system and external works and drainage were also carried out, along with works to sundry outbuildings.
Total re-landscaping of the surrounding areas has now also been completed.
Rectory Park house and gardens is a Grade 2* listed building of architectural importance and the gardens are on the Natural Register of Historic Parks and Gardens
