Scotney Castle
Scotney Castle is a 14th century moated ruin surrounded by lovely gardens and outbuildings and a Victorian country house.
Extensive works to improve visitor facilities were carried out at Scotney by way of
- the refurbishment and conversion of the stable cottage and coach house
- the construction of a WC block, boiler house and woodchip store
Also included in the contract was
- the below ground drainage
- external landscaping
- and paving
During the construction period, the house and adjacent buildings, gardens and parkland were fully occupied and operational and open to the general public.
