St Marylebone School

The secondary school had no gymnasium and limited drama and music facilities.  The only practical option due to limited playground area was to form a below ground hall and reinstate the playground.

The works in this contract comprised of

• the demolition of existing two storey drama and art block,
• exhumation of cemetery including archaeological investigations and
• construction of a new multi-purpose below ground hall and
• five storey performing and visual arts block, commencing two storeys below ground and
• reinstatement of playground at ground floor level with associated external works and drainage.
